My arms are seriously sore from grinding wheat this week. I've decided I'm going to start making my own bread. I also made some scrumptious whole wheat peach muffins replacing half the fat with white beans mashed up. They are surprisingly good. I can definitely tell a difference with my blood sugar not crashing so fast after I eat them compared to those with white flour. Small steps. I'm not there, or even close to there yet, but small changes.

i want your muffin recipe... you should post it. that is very ambitious to do your own grinding. is it hard to do by hand? i am way too cheap to buy an electric one, but like the idea of making my own flour.
ps-- your last post was funny. :) i accept the tag, but after getting thru the first two questions i realized it's going to take me awhile.
Yes, definitely please post the muffin recipe; they sound good. I like to read about the things you're doing to be healthier- I should do stuff like that. I'll do the tag too, it's just finding the time... I really dislike moving.
Hey, if you ever get too tired to grind, I've got an electric one. But I'm sure it is a great alternative to weight lifting. I've been baking bread instead of buying for two months now! Mmmmm, homemade is yummy. I need tips on the beans though. I mashed some up and added it to a cookie recipe, but it had bean skin chunks, don't like that texture, blah.
